Moin Akhtar, you'll always be in our hearts and memories

The legend Moin Akhtar, who was famous for his versatile acting, 
died on April 22, 2011 from a heart attack at the age of 61.

An average Moin Akhtar fan cannot easily explain the wellsprings of his art. It seems that it comes from within. Pride of Performance Moin Akhtar was a role model for anyone who aspires to become an entertainer. He was great in each and every work he done, A great artist, comedian, impersonator, host, Pakistani movie, drama, TV and theater actor , writer, singer, director and producer. He was an institution in one personality, a God gifted talented man with every thing which we can find in different individuals of his field. His eyes always smiled with the joy of today, the promise of tomorrow, Once He said: 'I have confidence in my own abilities.' He was the most entertaining and decent person on television i have ever seen. Before his television debut he had been working for karachi radio and later on stage, television and the silver screen. His famous stage plays include “Bachao Moin Akhtar”(Save Moin Akhtar) and “Excuse Me Baba”, and his famous television plays include “Half Plate”, “Sach Much”, "Bandar road se Kemari" and “Rozi”. His parody in English, Urdu, Sindhi, Bengali, Punjabi, Memon, Pushto, Gujrati and many other dialects distinguish him from all other entertainers.

Journey of Moin Akhtar starts with a variety show was held in Karachi on September 6, 1966, on defense day of Pakistan. A skinny youth by the name of Moin Akhtar stepped up on the stage and entertained the audience with sound effects, he also copied the voice and gestures of various Pakistani luminaries,  public who were all wearing smiles chanted: 'Once more, once more". People felt power in that boy's voice. He acted with confidence. There was a strange, enchanting way he conducted himself. He had the honor to be the host of most valuable shows in which the head of states from Pakistan and abroad were invited. People from all walk of life in Pakistan & south Asian from all over the world condoled his death. He was the most loved TV person all over the country.

Once in an interview he said , “I want to stay alive in the hearts and minds of the people, even after I am gone.”  Yes Moin sahab you'll always be alive in our hearts. You are not just a man but you have spread Smiles on so many faces that are shredding tears today for their legendry Moin AKhtar who is eternal for his fans. You'll always live in our hearts. People come and People Go but for every Pakistani Moin Akhtar is a part of their family. We love you Moin Akhtar May ALLAH bless you with the best place he has in the heavens and may your soul rest in peace forever. Ameen.  "Inna lillahi wainna ilahi Rajioon"
