3rd martyrdom anniversary of "Daughter of the East"

Today on 27 December 2007, Benazir Bhutto was killed while leaving a campaign rally for the PPP at Liaquat National Bagh, RawalPindi, where she had given a spirited address to party supporters in the run-up to the January 2008 parliamentary elections. After entering her bulletproof vehicle, BB stood up through its sunroof to wave to the crowds. At this point, a gunman fired shots at her and subsequently explosives were detonated near the vehicle killing approximately 20 people. Mohtarma was critically wounded and was rushed to Rawalpindi General Hospital. She was taken into surgery and pronounced dead. It was the most tragic and dreadful evening in the history of Pakistan, in the death of Benazir Bhutto, the world has lost an extremely talented woman of valor.

Pakistan is celebrating the 134th birth anniversary of Father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah with national spirit and enthusiasm today.
National flag had been hoisted at all government buildings throughout the country. The day was dawned with special prayers in mosques for the soul of the great leader Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and prosperity and development of the country.
The representatives of three services (Army, Navy and Air Force) and people from all sections of the society laid floral wreaths on behalf of their respective services at the mausoleum of the Quaid in Karachi. Political, social, cultural and educational organizations had chalked out programmes to mark the occasion in a befitting manner.

Malika Tarannum Noor jahan's 10th death Anniversary is being remembered

Noor jahan is known as "Malika-e-Tarranum" which means "Melody Queen", she was the great female singer and also a popular actress. Madam Noor jahan sung many songs in Urdu and Punjabi language. She was born in Punjab before the partition of South Asia, after partition she moved to Pakistan. She sung many unforgettable songs, her voice holds the great impression. Madam was very loyal to Pakistan she sung many national songs live to encourage Pakistan army in the war field.
She started her filmi career in 1935 She acted and sung songs in various movies in Pakistan and across Pakistan before partition. Battle of Karbala : Upheld the struggle of good against the evil.

10th Muharram is a day of mourning for all Muslims. The tragic incident at Karbala where the righteous Hazrat Imam Hussain (son of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib and Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (daughter of prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) refused to submit to the autocracy of Yazid is an event laden with deep symbolism. Hazrat Imam Hussain and his faithful companions preferred to die on the banks of river Euphrates and upheld the struggle of good against the evil.
