World Habitat Day

The theme for this year’s celebration: “Planning our Urban Future,” is to underscore the urgency of meeting the needs of city dwellers in a rapidly urbanising world.

The world, join Habitat for Humanity in support of this global observance to declare that the lack of decent, affordable housing is unacceptable. According to the United Nations, more than 100 million people in the world today are homeless.
