Miracle of Quran

FAULTS ON THE EARTH’S SURFACE
12- By the fractured earth.
86-The Knocker, 12

In the verse preceding the above verse (The Knocker, verse 11), the returning property of the sky was stressed; this refers to phenomena unknown to men 1400 years ago (Chapter 20 of the present book). In the above verse there are also factual implications that the public during the Prophet’s time did not know. As faults had not yet been discovered, the verse was believed to refer to the opening of the earth for the sprouting of vegetation.

In the post-Second World War years, scientists intensified submarine research activity with a view to having access to precious metals and minerals. During this research work, they came across something quite unexpected; the bottom of the seas were covered with fissures that came to be called “faults” or “cracks.” If we draw an analogy between the period that has elapsed since the second world war until today with the period that has elapsed from the time of the descent of the Quran 1400 years ago, when there was reference to this information in the Quran, we can better appreciate the value of this reference.

EVERYTHING IS INTERCONNECTED

The Quran now draws our attention to the sky, now to the earth, displaying the hidden mysteries and inciting us to inquire into them. As is the case with the sky, so it is with the depths of the earth-endless mysteries waiting to be unraveled. The “fractured earth” referred to in the verse is of towering importance from the point of view of establishing a connection between the magma under the ground and the surface. These cracks also play a decisive role in the formation of the submarine topography.

Information about the faults is also important as it provides us with detailed knowledge about earthquakes. Big earthquakes occur along the fault lines on the crust. Differentiated movements in the huge masses of substrata form a strain along the fault line. The rocks on each side of the cracks try to resist it before the crust gives way.

In any single earthquake, the amount of slip, in other words the relative displacement of the two fault surfaces, may be a few inches, it is so even in big earthquakes. Studies have been carried out on faults to map out the regions likely to suffer greater damages, the requirements for the construction of edifices to resist the tremor.

The greatest fault upon the earth is the one that stretches from Greenland’s offshore to Antarctica. The second largest one stretches along the Pacific Ocean along the Western shore of North and South America. The third important fault lies in the depths of the Asian continent under the Himalayas and follows the South Asian direction. Along with these greater ones there are shorter ones as well. The Quran directs our attention to places where earthquakes can be expected to take place. If we give up our custom of reciting the Quran merely for the souls of those who have departed, and take it as a guide for our life, we can reach the truth hidden in it.

28 May, Youm-e-Takbeer

Pakistan became 7th atomic power on May 28th, 1998.

On May 28, 1998 Pakistan announced that it had successfully conducted five nuclear tests. The Pakistani Atomic Energy Commission reported that the five nuclear tests conducted on May 28 generated a seismic signal of 5.0 on the Richter scale, with a total yield of up to 40 KT (equivalent TNT). These tests came slightly more than two weeks after India carried out five nuclear tests.

NY Times wrote Pakistan’s progress in post WW-II period was only 2nd to US and a great example of nation building.

The Man Behind the Myth, Prof.Dr.A.Q.Khan Said:
I am proud of my work for my country. It has given Pakistanis a sense of pride, security and has been a great scientific achievement. I am extremely happy and grateful to all those Pakistanis who appreciate my services for our country and show tremendous love, affection and respect for me, my family and my colleagues. No money on earth can buy the love and affection that has been given to me by a grateful nation. In short, I consider myself a humble, patriotic Pakistani who gave his best for his country.

Lahore Blast in Pictures

The suicide car bomb blast at Rescue-15 building adjacent to CCPO Office killed 24 people and injured over 200 others here in Civil Line area on Wednesday. There was always a fear that Pakistan's war with the Taliban would spill over into the major cities. We have seen attacks in the last 10 days in Peshawar, but this attack in Lahore has all the hallmarks of something more organized and more deadly.

Ordinary Pakistanis now fear the country as a whole is under threat. The attack here shows that not only are Pakistan's security forces under threat, but the ordinary people of Pakistan too.

I strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Lahore & Pray to Allah Almighty for eternal salvation of those who lost their lives in this incident.

Pakistani Drone ready to Fly.

DRONE is also called unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is an unpiloted aircraft. UAVs come in two varieties: some are controlled from a remote location, and others fly autonomously based on pre-programmed flight plans using more complex dynamic automation systems. Currently, UAVs perform reconnaissance as well as attack missions. They are also used in a small but growing number of civil applications, such as firefighting. UAVs are often preferred for missions that are 3D too "dull, dirty, or dangerous" for manned aircraft.

These days we hear a lot that Pakistan needs Drone Technology, but i am wondering if we really lack in Drone technology in presence of Integrated Dynamics, SATUMA and East and West.

A Karachi-based private company that specializes in UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).
It has several models developed already that are working in the field.

Similarly, The SATUMA lies 25 km out of Islamabad on the bank of river Soan with an engineering floor area of 5,000 Sq. ft. and a small airstrip for testing and evaluating scaled air frames, testing engines and other outdoor activities.

East-West provides alot of the sophisticated electronic devices that go into these UAVs to track terrorists. Today there is a growing ecosystem for robotics and UAVs, with work also being done on UUVs (underwater unmanned vehicles) and ground recon robots.

By the way, these Pakistani are doing pretty good job, as they were able to sell their UAVs to the US border patrol.

Here are few pictures of Pakistani Made Drones

The Tornado is a target and decoy UAV with a range of over 200 kilometres. It can reach speeds of up to 300 knots and can emit false radar signals to confuse enemy air defences.

The Nishan MK-II is seen here against the backdrop of Shadow and Explorer UAVs. The Nishan has a wingspan of over 9 feet and is considered a high-speed aerial target or decoy. Its range is limited to 35 kilometres.

The Border Eagle is a surveillance UAV that comes equipped with both a still and video camera along with a chemical monitoring module.

The explorer is one of two advanced civilian UAV systems, offered by Integrated Dynamics. It has a 20-kilometre range, equipped with sensors suited for scientific research programmes.

The Shadow is also a surveillance UAV that has a speed of over 200 kilometres per hour and can operate within a 200-kilometre range.

The Rover is a civilian UAV typically, used for electronic news gathering and rapid information relay.

Integrated Dynamics also features ground station units that are used in combination with the UAV systems.

SATUMA UAV Half Scale Trainer - HST
SATUMA Mini UAV - Stingray

SATUMA Short Range UAV - Mukhbar

SATUMA Tactical Range UAV - Jasoos II
