Australia looted a nail-biting combat against Pakistan after a dramatic fightback by Pakistani bowlers, who almost chop Australian line-up and dragged the thrilling contest on the final ball of the match, but Australia ultimately secure the contest by two wickets and ensured their place in the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy. The defending champions, having won the toss and restricted Pakistan to 205-6 off 50 overs, were on the way for an easy victory as they were 140-2 on the board, seven wickets in hand and almost 19 overs left.
