Maoists killed seven security personnels in Orissa state
NEW DELHI, April 13 (APP): Maoists killed seven security personnels in Koraput district of Orissa state on Sunday night. The police officer in the district said four Maoists were also killed in the gun battle when over one hundred militants attacked state-run bauxite mine at Panchpatmali.

Gilani invites PML (N) to rejoin federal cabinet
ISLAMABAD, April 12 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani formally invited the PML (N) to rejoin the federal cabinet as both democratic parties have a common objective to strengthen the democratic institutions and to steer the country out of its present challenges. He extended this invitation to President PML (N) and Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, who met him at the Prime Minister here this afternoon.
Stressing the need for cooperation between the two major mainstream political parties in the greater national interest, the Prime Minister said that one of the major preconditions in the way of PML (N) to rejoin the federal cabinet have been fulfilled with the restoration of judges.

President refers Nizam-e-Adal regulation to PM
ISLAMABAD, Apr 12 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari has referred Nizam e Adal Regulation, 2009 to Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani. The President referred the regulation with the advice that the Prime Minister may consider placing it before the parliament for debate.
